MILANESE

Milanese is worked in diagonal rows. It consists of 4 stitches worked diagonally to create a triangle, then repeated.

STEP BY STEP
- To begin, make a tent stitch across one intersection in the top left of the area you want to cover. Below it make your second stitch across 2 intersections. Make your third stitch across 3 and your fourth across 4.
- Repeat this pattern to complete a diagonal row.
- For your second row, flip the triangles to face the opposite direction, placing the tip of the triangle (the smallest stitch) next to the longest stitch in the previous row.
